Fair overall, with general shelf wear, cloth frayed at top and bottom of the backstrip, fore-corners worn through to boards, hinges cracked, internal binding solid, paper moderately yellowed, BUT the primary condition issue being, the exterior of this volume has been damp-stained (moisture, not flowing water) and appears somewhat soiled from the resulting foxing, with staining entering onto the endpapers, however the interior illustrations of the volume are quite clean and would qualify as very good.
