New York: Pynson Printers, 1937. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Duodecimo. 83 pages. Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. Bound in orange cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine and upper board, light green endpapers. Dust jacket has a touch of browning to spine and one small hole on lower joint fold near head of spine.. Black & white cuts, some color. Beautiful little collection of Rockwell Kent's distinctive bookplates, initials, and marks. A first collection was printed in 1929 in an edition of 1250 copies, and quickly sold out. This companion volume was published 8 years later, printed in two colors on rag paper, and kept to same limitation (1250) as the earlier volume. This is copy #1132, SIGNED by Kent at colophon. [New York?]: (Gill Engraving Company?), 1905. Near Fine. Framed original, black and white animated art piece depicting a colonial print shop and the arrival of a new hand screw press. Appears to be acrylic on artists' board.. One of a series of illustrations by E. M. Gill which were featured in Artemas Ward's advertising trade journal, "Fame," around the turn of the 20th century. Nicely matted and framed.

Translation by Dermot T. Cooke. Introduction by Enzo Carli. Primarily a catalogue of Marini's work, with notes and captions. Red textured paper over boards with gilt stamped spine and upper board lettering. Minor bump to lower fore corner of lower board. Jacket has overall yellowing, a .5" x .125" hole near top edge of front panel, a 1" closed tear at lower edge of front panel near joint fold, rubs and wrinkles at extremities, and some surface abrasions. Still a presentable jacket, and one which has preserved the book itself in very nice condition. Contains an index to the etchings.. Jacket in Mylar protector.
