B/W photogaphs throughout. A bit of dampstaining top corner of much of the text. A few white spots to covers. DJ a bit worn at edges and folds with chipping to crown of spine and corners. An attractive copy despite the issues.

One of the more sought after Zane Grey fishing titles. House in original first issue dust-jacket that has been price-clipped. Accompanied by 1923 personal check signed by Zane Grey (laid-in). Original dark blue cloth boards are tight and clean but for a bump to top corner of front board. This copy bears the ownership stamp of "BP Singer Features" on the front of DJ and FFEP. BP Singer was a newspaper syndicate, headed by Kurt Singer, who also acted as book reviewer and agent. The copy also bears the blindstamp of noted Zane Grey biographer and author, George Reiger.
