Scarce original program to the 1958 San Francisco International Film Festival. This, the second year of the festival, was held at the Metro Theater in SF from October 29 thru November 11, 1958. Sixteen countries exhibited a film during the event. Notably, the United States did not air a film at the festival until the following year. This festival tremendously aided the cause of San Francisco in it's early struggle for recognition as a city of Art and diversity. Original programs to the earlier years are quite scarce. Zero copies located on OCLC. Sunning to covers. Original staple binding.

This original press kit features three stapled descriptions of the shows and the performers as well as production details, times etc. The kit also features SIX (6) original press photos, two of which are autographed. Photo signed by "Dusty" the clown (Tim Torkildson) and "T.J. Tatters" (Steve Smith) as well as Charles King, the leader of the King Charles Troupe, "the first all-Black Circus act in history." The actual inside pocket of the press folder is autographed by Antoinette Concello, "The Queen of the Air". Concello was featured in the Cecil B. DeMille classic "The Greatest Show on Earth" (1952).
