CONDITION: Very clean and bright red cloth-covered boards, with small horseman with upheld sword in black on front board and black lettering on spine, show only a bit of wear at top and bottom spine edges and very tips of bottom front corners. Tips of top front corners are slightly bumped. Pages are yellowed but clean and unmarked throughout. Binding has only the beginning of a separation between pages 120 & 121 with the glue showing, but not the gauze. Jacket has a several-colored drawing of "damsel" side-saddle on a horse with a gentleman who has just shot his handgun. Jacket is bright but has rubbing and some chipping at front-fold edges and at spine edges. Top and bottom spine edges are lightly chipped. Jacket looks quite good in its fresh mylar cover..
