Pamphlet. 44p., illustrated with a couple of fuzzy photos (customers standing at display racks) and metal signage ("We Deliver"), a small softbound pamphlet in 6x3.5 inch plain printed stapled wraps. Faintest crimpings along spinefold, a light back-cover corner crease and faint stain, otherwise clean and sound with no markings, a good to very good copy. Novelties offered seasonally include valentines, fireworks, baseball equipment, playing cards, harmonicas and lead pencils. The state of Missouri must have absorbed especially numerous immigrants from Germany; there are several German-language periodicals listed in the main selection plus a special section two pages long of German newspapers.

Pamphlet. 24p., illustrated with captioned vignette cuts showing stock (printed blue on alkaline paper), texts entirely in French, softbound in stapled 8x5 inch decorated wraps, printed in white and black on green, shows a guitarist figure. Staples have rusted with a touch of migration, else near-fine all around: clean, sound, unmarked. Pictured first are some fifty types of stiff collars, including four types especially for children, then stiff cuffs, shirtfronts, cufflinks, neckties galore, buttons, nightshirts, socks, even more collars, vests, gloves, hankies, suspenders-- and finishing up with yet a third selection of collars denominated 'Americain'. The cover image is a cartooned marionette troubadour, who appears to be constructed of collars and cuffs.

Paris: Etablissements Tricotel, 1911. Pamphlet. 36p., offset illustrations on each page with minuscule captioning and measurments, softbound, a 7x5 inch pamphlet in stapled printed wraps. Laid in is a further ad on pink flimsy with specs on fencing. Exterior handling soil and wear, a small splash of ink, staples rusted with a touch of migration, spinefold abraded with a split begun, mild toning of textstock which is only one step up from newsprint. Complete, handleable and legible, a good (good-only) copy. Garden furniture, gates, fences, greenhouses, trellises, dovecotes, follies, bridges and buckets.

Unpaginated, 24p., small stiff pamphlet in stapled 6x3.5 inch cardstock wraps, illustrated with fullpage side- and three-quarter views of five different models, plus numerous vignettes of chassis and guts, most with spot-color yellow emphases. Covers are or were cream white with blue lines bordering, front and back emblemd outlined in blue and blind, and, embossed in blind, open cars with passengers, these a little hard to make out because of heavy handling wear and soiling. Text leaves are coated alkaline paperstock, held with staples, fairly clean. Close examination shows that cover borders and spinefold have been neatly strengthened with clear tape, probably modern stuff. A good (good-only) copy. Models shown are the Model T fore-door [sic; "fore-doors are detachable"], the Torpedo Runabout, a Commercial Roadster, a Town Car, the Delivery Car.

Issues present are Año 1 Numero 1 (1st de Febrero de 1915), 2 (16 de Diciembre de 1915) and 3 (1 de Marzo de 1915), presumably both 2 and 3 are mis-numbered. Various pagination, 8.75 x 13 inches, self wraps secured by folding, profusely illustrated with black and white photos and drawings of boats, Numbers 1 and 3 with foxed wraps, Number 1 with chipped and silverfished front wrap and foxing throughout else generally good condition. Text in Spanish. Pascual was a captain of the merchant marines, founder of a trade union association of sailors, president of a shipyard, and founder of a number of maritime companies. "Marina" covers the martime industry, the Navy, and related issues, such as the building of the Suez Canal. Only 1 in OCLC as of 9/2019/.

Dannenberg was a German-American IWW member. Most notable aspect is strange mix of previous owners. Handwritten note at top of front cover says "Purchased 2/8/19 Rand School", fading stamp lower down cover says "Return to N.Y Office - Dept. Justice Bureau Investigation", while stamps on title page various indicate "Property of United States Bureau of Investigation," "Property of Federal Bureau of Investigation U.S. Department of Justice," and "Duplicate Hoover Institution." Quite a pedigree!

Paperback. 72p., printed double-column on coated alkaline paperstock, illustrated with sepia & black touched-up photos of food, of the big flour mill, of bags and bags of in-sack product with the label embellished with spot color, and numerous shots of a comely young woman in fetching kitchen attire, in different poses (waiting for company, possessed of enough flour, holding an empty bag-- "but the grocer has more"). Large softback, 11x8 inches, in tobacco-brown wraps decorated in dark brown. grey and red, has a cloth backstrip; handsome production in craftsman style. Upper left corner punchholed for a cord hanger, cord still in place but somewhat ravelled. Expect wear and tear, the cloth frayed at top and tail, corner-tips creased and a tip missing from titlepage, short marginal tear to back cover, rust-spots where sunken staples lie sleeping. One of the advertised "coupons" neatly clipped out. A good (good-only) copy of a pretty book.
