Entirely legible with no damage to text, the leaf itself is quite toned and fragile: edgewear, chipping, short tears. Fair to good copy. General remarks typified by "HAY.--The market is firm and choice timothy will rule strong all season." And "EGGS.--The supply is smaller today than at first of week [&c]." Particular listings get to the point, as in "Cucumbers, per box [and] carrots, per bbl...$1.50
