Northfield MA: National Headquarters, American Youth Hostels Inc, 1938. Pamphlet. 65p., sketch illustrations with an especially large group of b&w photos of AYH activity by Fritz Goro. Small journal in pamphlet format, 7x5 inches, an excellent two-color woodcut decorates the cover; bound in, printed on acidic tinted stock, is a long (10-inch) informational strip passed thru the spinefold so protruding 5 inches on either side. This strip of unstable construction paper has offset onto adjoining leaves, and is currently split in half, along the spinefold, and now detached. A good copy: generally sound, and entirely free of soil or any markings.

Pamphlet. 20p. includes covers, 5.5x8.5 inches, full transcript of the episode, further information and recent transcripts backlist, very good booklet in stapled wraps. Transcript of the news program. This episode includes a Whatever happened to...? segment on Anita Bryant. Also Noriega's Millions, Pedal People Power & When the Time Comes on placing the elderly in nursing homes.

Dauphin, Canada: Of course you can distro, 2013. Pamphlet. 30p., 5.5x8.5 inch photocopied zine wraps; b&w illus., small price sticker on back wrap, slight handling, else in very good condition.

Portland: Cantankerous, 2005. Paperback. [60p.], very good in wraps, 5.5x7 inches. Takes facsimiles of original Portland police reports from the crackdown on Critical Mass (1993-2005), and turns parts of them into mad libs. A key at the end supplies the words used in the original reports.

San Francisco: Avi Ehrlich at Silver Sprocket [Bicycle Club], 2013. Pamphlet. [68p]., first issue of the punk zine, 5.5x8.5 inch pictorial wraps; b&w comic strips, very good condition (entirely sound, clean and unmarked). Silver 045. While the bike club is just a couple blocks away from our bookshop, we know nothing. Printed in Canada (north of San Francisco), it surfaced in at least two consecutive issues, which we have seen.

Washington DC: Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, 1990. Five issues of the tabloid-format newspaper, horizontally folded, unevenly toned, with old address labels. Issues present are Summer/Fall and Winter 1987, 1988, 199, and 1990. The main focus of the group was to send bicycles to Nicaragua and encourage a self-sufficient bike industry there. The last issue present here promises to continue despite the electoral loss by the Sandinistas.

Houston, TX: Inleaf Press, 2001. Pamphlet. [18[p., stapled wraps, 5x8.5 inches, illus., very good condition. On bicycles at the turn of the nineteenth century, particularly focused on women bike riders. Also includes discussion of parlor games and magic tricks.

Hong Kong: Lu da wen hua chu ban gong si, 2008. Paperback. 150p., very good in wraps. Biography of Peter Wing Lee (Li Yongjiang), a Chinese-American Tennessee resident who struggled against leukemia to become a champion bicyclist. Text in Chinese.

St. Laurent, Quebec: Yunia Publications, 1997. Paperback. 207p., maps, color photo plates, in very good condition. Signed by the author.

St.Andre-de-Cubzac: the manufacturer, 1920. 12p., clear b&w presswork on coated alkaline paperstock, softbound, a pleasant little pamphlet in 7x4 inch stapled buff wraps, illustrated with a bicycle type and stats on every page. A clean fresh copy.

Los Angeles: WorldWay, 1976. 170p., wraps, illust., map. Covers the author's travels with his wife by bicycle and on foot over the De Anza trail, from the Mexican border to San Francisco.

Riverdale MD: Ecological Democracy Institute of North America, 2004. Newsletter. [16]p., self-wraps on nice alkaline paperstock, illustrated with a few b&w vignette-size photos; paste-fastened standard leaves with double-column text and spot-color enhancement, a sound clean unmarked copy. Laid in find a lengthy "Vision Statement" on marigold stock. One of GEO's self-appointed activities is to resuscitate abandoned bicycles (lots turn up in Chicago) to endow to would-be bicyclists; Ghana got a huge truckload of patched-up bikes, see photo.

Rome: Lega per l'energia alternativa e la otte antinucleare, [198-]. Poster. 19x27 inch poster, very good, announcing an anti-nucler bicycle rally. Possibly related to the 1987 anti-nuclear referendum in Italy, held in the wake of the Chernobyl disaster, which led to the country shutting down its nuclear power plants.

Paris: A. Taride Editeur, 1920. Map. A very large folded map, no.9 of 32 plats, this devoted to area west of Paris, folded and re-folded neatly so that it still fits into the publisher's 5x7 inch manila sleeve. The sleeve took the brunt of use and age; it is very dust-soiled (in places to the point of illegibility) and worn through with a thumbprint-size hole. The map is lovely, we peeked at one free corner; on thin tough semi-glazed paper with beautifully engraved presswork in four colors. There are short partings at several of the visible fold-lines, we see nothing drastic and are afraid to probe deeply. Undated but a footnote to the text on the sleeve offers "Cartes suivre les Operations Militaires, De la Somme a la Mer" &c &c, ergo during or not long after the finish of WWI.
