Caracas: Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Comunicacion y la Informacion, 2008. Paperback. 141p., plus unpaginated index (a rather thorough one) &c, softbound in 8.5x5.5 inch color wraps. Faint edgewear to front cover, a deep crease and touches of soil to rear cover, else sound, and entirely clean and unmarked. Terminal printed leaf bears the simple message (in Spanish) that this book was printed up to be distributed free, and that to sell it would be counterrevolutionary.

Washington DC: Labor Party, 1997. Folder, 11.5x9.2 inches, with seven sheets of organizing tips, reprinted article and related material on the Labor Party and its campaign for an Amendment to the Constitution that guarantees everyone a right to a job, two pads of blank petitions are also included along with the packet is 2x2 inch pin back button promoting the amendment. The folder is slightly faded with minor abrasions else very good condition.

Washington DC: GPO, 1984. Pamphlet. Senate Appropriations Report runs 15p., is staple-fastened in white self-wraps, outer leaves are slightly toned round the margins, while the Press Release is a single page of text, about 200 words, folded transversely once; it encloses a laid-in envelope (scissored - printed face only) with the Senate return address and Barry Goldwater's franking signature in the plate. We found the Release nestled into the Report and have assumed it belonged. The two items together as associated by general subject matter and by date of issue. 98th Congress, 2nd session, Senate. Report 98-481.

Washington, DC: American Commonwealth Federation, 1936. Pamphlet. 1 sheet (2 pages). 8.5 x 5.5 in. Horizontal fold, otherwise Very Good. Flier announcing a plan that provided every family guaranteed income. Promotes the pamphlet "American Commonwealth Plan" published in 1936. The American Commonwealth Plan was floated around the same time as the Townsend Plan and Social Security.

San Francisco: The Coalition, 1992. Single 8.5x11 inch handbill printed both sides calling for support to get AB 101 on the November 1992 ballot, very good condition.

Baguio City: Cordillera Studies Center, University of the Philippines Baguio, 1994. Paperback. ii, 187p., paperback, 7x10 inches, very good. During the 1990s, two plebiscites were conducted to legalize the Cordillera autonomous region. The Cordillera People's Liberation Army (CPLA) signed an agreement in 2011 to end their armed struggle to achieve autonomy, but non-militarized efforts persist.

Barrie, Ontario: Angelus Books, 1988. Pamphlet. 15, [1] pages, illustrations. Some minor foxing, otherwise very good. This pamphlet presents Comtois, a Canadian conservative politician who became governor of Quebec in 1961, as a martyr for perishing in order to save the Blessed Sacrament from a fire that destroyed his official residence on February 21, 1966. The author writes that minimal news coverage was the result of a conspiracy by "the modernist dictatorship, the Left-wing Catholics, who control vast segments of our news media." First published in Approaches, issue no. 95, 1986, Saltcoats, Scotland.

no city, Afghanistan: Government Printing House, 1965. Oversized Paperback. Paginated in Arabic, about 48p., music notation with lyrics in Arabic cursive throughout, softbound in 12.5x9 inch stapled decorated wraps; covers are quite edgeworn with corner-tip turnings, a chip, mild handling soil, and migrated rust from staples. clean within with just a few crimps. Color cover illustration is, by the way, oddly modernist, even Picasso-esque.

Hardcover. 165p., frontis portrait as called for, first edition hardbound in 8x5 inch black cloth boards gilt-titled on spine-panel's printed green fields, enclosed in the dust jacket. Top edge tinted green (a pleasant touch), a nice production. Book itself is sound if a little edgeworn, expect irregular toning to both free endsheets (binder's paste creep), cleanly alkaline paperstock, while the dust jacket is edgeworn with two small chips and abrasion to extremities, dust-soil to the rear panel. A solidly "good" copy.

Oakland: Alameda County Labor-Community Coalition, 1979. Staplebound. [8]p., newsletter on four pink standard leaves, corner-stapled, a fascicle designed to be folded in half for mailing (it wasn't). Staple badly rusted with migration, cigarette-burn to fore-edge (sandpapered a little to discourage offset ash). As is, a fair to good copy that is perfectly handleable and legible. Amongst the projects proposed to readers of this issue, the central one was to fight Proposition 4, "the Gann Initiative

Austin TX: printed for the author by Von Boeckmann-Jones Company, 1963. Hardcover. xiv, 74p., illustrated from contemporary photojournalism and family portraits, a nice semi-fine-press treatment hardbound in 10x6.5 inch grey cloth boards, presswork on thick alkaline paperstock. Casing is slightly edgeworn, else clean and unmarked. Biography of a very active Austin city father.
