Unpaginated preliminaries, 62, 2p., illustrated with mounted from-negative photographs on standard leaves mimeo'd recto only, text a later carbon copy (a bit blurry but legible) hardbound in black cloth boards with utilitarian cover titling gilt. Covers mildly spotted and edgeworn, paperstock toned with dim splash-stains to textblock margins, a sound unexceptional copy. Find sixteen (16) 3x4 inch mounted pictures, one detached and present, distant views of youth in costume and flora (boring, but.. authentic Ohio fun).

The photo looks to be circa 1970s-1980s and depicts three men in full leather motorcycle regalia, one blond and clean-shaven, the middle figure short with full beard and mustache and the third taller with mustache and wearing a The Watering Hole, Folsom & 6th t-shirt. Possibly ink-jet on matte paper and possibly original photo.

Portland, OR: Tollman (Studio), 1900. Photo from the negative printed 5.5x7.5 inches in sepia, mounted on 8.5x10.5 inch pressed cardstock titled in silver foil. The sepia image is faded, evenly enough, but dim's the watchword; the cardboard frame, pressed in blind, is attractive and in very good shape (pace light edgewear). Image taken from an elevation west of Shasta, directly eastwards across a wide valley, shows forested land; Shastina is very plain.

Photo taken at Fort Point about where Kim Novak went in the Bay except the print appears to be reversed. On close inspection this appears to be a copy of the original and not an original print.

Berkeley: University of California Press, 1919. Pamphlet. Unpaginated, perhaps fifty pages, 7x5 inch textured ivory wraps titled in blind and bound with elastic satin-finished cord. Meticulously printed in smallpoint on textured alkaline paper, illustrated with a number of tipped-on b&w photoreproductions of campus sites and one photograph from the negative, of revered president Wheeler. A little edgeworn and dusty, not much handled, the paperstock has developed scattered flecks of foxing. Laid in is a tissue-guarded formal invitation to Commencement Day exercises in the Greek Theatre. A good to very good copy. As for the photo-portrait, it measures 3x2 and is fine.

Eight plates out of original twenty from the Italian American model's portfolio with a cover sheet reproducing #7 with ordering information on back, the plates in very good condition but some wear and closed tears in margins on cover sheet. Images are 6.5x8 inches on 8x10 inch paperstock. Anthony Sanone was an Italian American bodybuilder, model, and author in the 1930s. The eight plates present are numbers 7 & 14-20 with a cover sheet reproducing #7. All are of Sansone in nude physique poses, sepia prints on cream paper.

no place: no photographer, 1980. Photograph. Four b&w photographs of marchers in a rally carrying signs in Spanish, three of which are untrimmed otherwise very good. Signs in the march include the Federacion de Comites de Madres y Familiares, mentioning Oscar Romero and the Desaparecidos. One is of an American flag with swastikas instead of stars and a piggish Uncle Sam eating children while giving the Nazi salute. Below that is a group hoisting the placard for the workers of Central de Trabajadores SalvadoreƱos (C.T.S.).

Cleveland, OH: Acme Photo, 1939. 8x6.25 inch press photo, very good, depicting two somewhat sheepish-looking boys, with mimeographed caption pasted on verso, reading: "Sentenced to read 'Americana' after prank. New Philadelphia, O. -- You'll find 15-year-old Eddie Mizer, left, and Bobby Stewart, 13, right, burning some midnight oil over such heavy tomes as a biography of Leon Czologos, assassin of President McKinley; a biography of Thomas Jefferson, 'The Citadel,' 'Magnificent Obsession' and others for the next year. The boys were sentenced to read such literature by Juvenile Judge J.H. Lamneck when it was found they had printed and distributed such leaflets as 'Join the Anarchists now or be sorry,' 'Hurray for Anarchy,' and others, on a toy printing press given them for Christmas.".

Twelve Soviet photo prints [in red folio, but containing a mixture of twelve prints from the red and blue folios]

n.p., 1934. Red folio containing twelve black and white photogravures, loose as issued, image size 9.25x13 inches on 14.25x19.75 inch sheets. The folio is mildly worn and stained, with some red tint having transferred to the verso of one of the sheets; some sheets have minor traces of edge-staining. The prints are a mixture of some originally from this red folio, with several from the blue folio. Prints present are: Kremlin: Moscow; Stalin's Mother; A Priest; Shock Brigadier; Street car conductor: Moscow; The world's largest blast furnace; Bricklayer; Soviet Serenade; Steel Worker: Magnitogorsk; For the iron mine foundations; Col. Hugh L. Cooper; and Medical students in Tiflis (this last being the one with red transfer to the verso, not visible from the front).

[East Germany]: ADN/Zentralbild, 1982. Five photographs, ranging from to 7x9.25 to 8.75x11.75 inches, each with a substantial caption in English on the verso. Subjects include a group of former concentration camp prisoners assembled for a rally, a memorial for fighters in Spain, a Soviet memorial in Berlin, and two photos from Buchenwald (the captions focus on the murder of Communist inmates, one mentioning the "Yews" in passing). Very good.
