A vintage original set with mostly complete dust wrappers, collectively VG+ to near fine condition. A wonderfull set missing just; 'School', 'Dragon' and 'G-Man' titles. The earliest jacket lists just 8 titles on the flap and on the verso (inside). All are red cloth with black titles, illustrated end papers with 'This is My Book' space in which each has a childs name, all the same name and date Dec. 25, 1940. Brightly illustrated dust jackets with 'Buddy' and his chums behind him on a road with a stone wall and a home behind them. 16, 17 & 19 have the no's printed (small) on the spine, the rest are not numbered. All dust jackets are archivally protected in clear poly for decades of enjoyment. Published 1929 through 1943.
