Oxford Uk: James Parker, 1873. Account of this church in Berkshire and the people associated with it up to the time of writing 1627, this is a reprint from 1873. Book is bright and clean, a little browning to pages and ghosting of printing from other side on two pages, this does not detract greatly and text can be read, small brown mark to top margins of two pages where a piece of newspaper has been used as bookmark, neat ink quotation opposite the title page. 127 pages outer boards a little rubbed on edgesand slight wear top and bottom of spine. Many old period photographs of people and places, outer covers have light wear on edges and a little darkened from age but still an attractive copy. top edges of pages are gold which is a little dulled. Attractive full leather binding for this book of thoughts in verse for Sundays and Holydays. 256 pages with previous owners details on front endpaper and some to first couple of blank pages and last couple of blank pages plus last page of index, rest of pages are bright and clean. Edges of pages are all gold which is very bright, outer leather binding has a couple of very lighr marks but is very bright and attractive. Book comes in cardboard box with metal reinforcers on corners, the box is a little worn and marked but has done its job in protecting the book. A very nice copy SEE IMAGE.
