Profusely illustrated in color photos.

An introductory author about the author, "J", by Bloom, a new translation of the works by Rosenberg, and commentary on the text from Bloom. Fine in a near fine, mildly shelfworn jacket.

A bit of underlining to the TOC, oddly, and to one section of endnotes. The text itself is unmarked. A used book, but overall pretty decent.

There is some staining to various pages, previous owner's name in pencil on title page. Life of Jesus, in German, with many B&W reproductions of religious artworks. Binding a bit tender, but intact. Very small matching tears to front pastedown and endpaper.

Very good in an about very good jacket---sizeable chip to top jacket corner, other small tears, one small piece of clear tape top front. Binding sound, text unmarked. Apparent first--no other printings noted.

Second printing of author's memoir of an inspirational and influential priest from his childhood, who provided him with guidance throughout his life. Notable for controversy develeoping after book's publication, when author's daughter accused him of sexual abuse. Jacket bent slightly at top of front panel, a bit loose at rear flap, tiny bends to a couple of page corners.

Like--really visited--Mary brings a suitcase and stays a while. NF in a like jacket, very light soil and a tiny nick to top edge. First printing.

The pastor of College Church in Wheaton, Illinois (home of Wheaton College) calls for a return to moral absolutes on the part of the Church and evangelical Christians. He emphasized the need for the church to hold the moral high ground by removing itself from worldly complications. This is a fine paperback copy.

Now one of the most popular writers of serious religious and spiritual books, this is the tale of her departure from a convent amid depression and uncertainty, late diagnosis as an epileptic, and eventual fulfillment through her writing.
