Unusual offering from this late California pastor of a predominantly gay congregation. Details her journey from an evangelical trying to "cure" homosexuals to her later, more open-minded approach. This is slightly faded, but has almost no wear, corners square. There is an embossed stamp from the previous owner, and a bit of highlighting to early chapters. However, this is an uncommon copy. Author's inscription reads "To Eleanor, Much love as you share my journey, Sylvia" and is dated January 1987.

This is a first printing, inscribed "To Dick and Karen", with a small dog's head drawing. Book is fine, unclipped jacket has a touch of shelf wear and a tiny bump/tear to lower front corner.

Book has water damage to the FFEP and first 30 or so pages are a bit wavy. Jacket has two closed tears and crease to lower front, but quite presentable in protective mylar.
