50 Georgia Stories

By Lewis, Anne E.

Decatur: Georgia Life, 1977. Book. Illus. by John Kollock. Fair-. Hardcover. This book has a perfectly awful flaw that would customarily cause us to reject it, but it seems quite scarce in hardcover. This is hardcover. Weirdly it appears that the opening sheets (flyleaf/title page) have been removed. Fortunately the gutter seems intact, no hinging is showing. The first page is iii (the foreword, followed by the TOC) all said, a decent copy, fresh, straight in all other ways. The jacket has chips out edgewear, looking ok in new mylar wrapper. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Barnett Frummer is an Unbloomed Flower

By Trillin, Calvin

New York: Viking, 1969. Book. Good+. Hardcover. Second Printing. Scarce, early hardback by the noted Trillin. The sound, attractive book has some issues which I think are the work of the bindery. There is an odd light, symmetrical paterning of the endsheets and pastedowns. Book is otherwise clean and unbumped. Jacket has short tears, but again, perhaps due to color choices at the bindery, has an unusal pattern with lots of sunning, especially to the spine. Much edgewear, in mylar wrapper. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. We assure the buyer that books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. *.
