The Rosicrucian Philosophy Questions and Answers

By Heindel, Max

Oceanside, CA: The Rosicrucian Fellowship, 1922. Book. Very Good+. Hardcover. 5th or later Edition. A handsome old hardcover done in pre 40s style but surely much later, I'd guess the 60s. Dark green cloth boards are adorned with the customary assortment of crosses and spirit symbols. The book's sole flaw is the presence of an x-libris plate inside the front cover (the 1st pastedown). 22 is only date given but, as mentioned, I feel sure it is a later printing. Unmarked, clean, straight. Foto will follow. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*.

Thinking Alive, Earth Comes

By Pelley, William Dudley

Noblesville: Soulcraft, 1938. Book. Very Good-. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. This listing is for 2 by metaphysician Pelley, both call themselves 2nd eds. and give dates of '38 and '39 and are done in the pebbly burgundy leatherette of the era. Included with the book is the publishers solicitation, since a zip code appears it may be assumed that they are much later than the 30s. Some edge abrasion, EC has penned over name 1st endsheet, TA has foxing of end sheets. In leafing thru, no marking was noted and one lower corner was neatly, diagonally, cut away, margin only. Splendid looking pair. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*.

It's Still Now! A Trip From There To Here

By Coffin, James L.

East Seattle: Self-published, 1994. Book. Good+. Trade Paperback. A book which I can not claim to understand on any level. Apparently a self-published large format cartooned metaphysical speculation. Binding is not one I recall seeing before. ie spine has black reinforcement of some kind and presumably is not sewn. Paper is standard size (8 1/2 x 11), large for its purpose, and I think heavier than customary trade paperback type. While the work is copyrighted there is no publisher indication, no indication of printing, no isbn. Some stains (minor, exterior) a bit worn and thumbed..

Mankind In Amnesia

By Velikovsky, Immanuel

NY: Doubleday, 1982. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. Stated First Edition. Not Doubleday's brightest time bindery wise. While not a book club it looks so, inexpensively made. Luckily the item has remained sound if cosmetically challenged. The main flaw is notable cocking (slant of spine, as though one board is forward of the other) not the worst I've seen, perhaps in the moderate range. Also the spine and a small portion of the upper front cover are sun lightened. These things aside, text is bright and unmarked, no names penned. Binding quite tight. Boards clean with minimal bumping. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately.
