Random House, 1987. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 1987 Random House First Edition is in VG+/VG+ condition. The HB looks like new except for 3mm from the top of the first three page were pulled by the inside inner front cover, probably by faulty glue. Otherwise this is an unmarked, tight, seemingly unread copy. The DJ is intact and not price-clipped. This play is the third in the autobiographical trilogy, beginning with Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues. It debuted on Broadway in 1986, directed by Gene Saks, and starring Linda Lavin, Jonathan Silverman, Jason Alexander and Phyllis Newman. It was later filmed for TV by Paul Bogart in 1992 and starred Jonathan Silverman, as well as Anne Bancroft, Hume Cronyn, Jerry Orbach, and Michele Lee. In addition receive the 1994 Random House FIRST edition of Jake's Women which is in FINE/FINE condition with no marks or wear at all. *Brenbooks specializes in first edition books and plays that have been made into movies.

Adapted for film; 1) Directed by Herbert Ross in 1975 with Walter Matthau and George Burns (Oscar for Best Supporting Actor), 2) TV movie with Woody Allen and Peter Falk.
