No publication date in book, circa 1720 supplied. -- Text in gothic GERMAN. -- Auffs neue zum fleissigsten ubersehen, mit unterschiedenen nothigen Regeln vermehret und mit 50 rissern in Kupffer. -- There is a publisher's catalog at the beginning of this book, appears same paper but probably later (as some titles are circa 1780s). -- Collation: [4] catalog pages, title page, blank, [1]-28, [50 copper engraving plates, of which 5 are folding]. The last plate has been repaired with the reverse of a ? ledger sheet and with contemporary name written. -- Hardcover, modern buckram binding, spine: Architecture, J. R. Fasch, and library numbers; ex-library stamps on title page. Condiiton: good (the pages are generally bright with just a little spotting and edgewear; library marks as noted; modern binding tight and sharp). -- Pretty nice early copy of the German version of Vignola's Renaissance treatise on five orders of architecture, with discussion by German engineer and architecture theorist J. R. Fasch, and publication by German engraver, art dealer and publisher Johann Christoph Weigel.
