By Fitzsimons, F W

T Maskew Miller, Cape Town / Basil Blackwell, Oxford, 1919. Third Edition (revised). Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Signed. 559 pages (complete). Almost certainly signed by Fitzsimons on the half-title page (December 1941). A benign copy. The boards have some shelving wear about the corners, edges, seams. They are scuffed and a little marked from shelving and use. They are sound and sure. The spine has wear to head and foot. The titling has been rubbed away. A press cutting has been affixed to the front pastedown. The papertrims have sparse storage marks. The early pages have some storage wear about the edges, some foxing. The frontispiece has been repaired along its length. The contents pages have some very tidy underlining in pencil. From thereon the pages are very smart, very clean and clear, conscientious, competent, confident, diligent. fk
