The colours of the map are fresh, the details are pleasingly clear, the presentation is still confident. Each map is of nine panels. The folds have wear, but are still functional and certain. Bronze eyelets. Each are of Bonne's projection. The card covers of each map is marked and worn from age and storage. They are however, firm, secure. They each have a previous owner (Technical College, Port Elizabeth) stamp. The reverse (blank) sides have storage marks. The cartographic faces are bright, bold, clean, clear, more than competent, confident. A still useful and resourceful set. fk
