Two folio sheets folded into fours, 7-3/4" x 10-1/2", printing the papyrus fragment of the poem along with a full-page commentary by Marylin B. Arthur who did the translation along with Daniel Haberman. Drawing by Cornelia Brendel Foss. Copy #32 of 300 printed by hand on handmade paper and SIGNED by Haberman. This copy also INSCRIBED by Haberman to R'Lene Dahlberg, wife of Edward Dahlberg. Erinna was an ancient Greek poet, possibly a contemporary of Sappho. She is best known for her long poem, the DISTAFF, a three-hundred line hexameter lament for her childhood friend Baucis, who had died shortly after marriage. This fragment comes from that poem.
