Five quarto (7-1/4" x 9-3/4") volumes bound in modern mottled calf leather, blind-ruled border on covers, gilt ornamented spines on 5 raised bands, gilt-lettered black morocco spine labels; [16] - 648 - [12], [2] - 565 - [1 bl.] - [12], [2] - 520 - [16], [2] - 522 - [12], [2] - 498 - [14] pages. First collected edition (original French edition of LEVANT was 1700, MOSCOVY was 1718) of the travels in the Levant, Moscow, Persia, and the East Indies by the Dutch artist and traveler C.
