[42 illustrations present in all [only 41 are called for, the additional plate being entitled 'Nebulae']. Some foxing, principally to the blank margins of the plate leaves and their associated tissue-guards. Otherwise good, in the original gilt-and-blind decorated cloth-covered boards/gilt spine title and front-board logo/all edges gilt. COPAC, which records only four copies of this work, casts no light on the identities of either the Author or the illustrator/s.. First Edition. Gilt decorated Cloth. Good/Later Glassine d/w. Sm 8vo.
