Privately published by Sutton, a Manchester Estate Agent, Auctioneer and Valuer of some forty years standing, the book includes a seven-page autobiographical section describing a 1936 seventy-four day, 22,000 mile, cruise on the s.s. Arandora Star, a Blue Star Line vessel, including visits to Mexico City, Honolulu, Los Angeles and Hollywood, including the Universal Film Studios. Inscribed, signed & dated 19th Dec.1936 by the Author on the front free endpaper, the book is largely unopened. A couple of areas of light dulling to rear board, a previous owner's illustrated book label to f.f.e.p. and one leaf carelessly opened with a small tear-without-loss to the blank margin.
