Poems from the Welsh poet who was close friends with Dylan Thomas, and also served as a cryptographer at Bletchley Park.

Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1949. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. Later printing, with no date on title page and DJ price of $2.50. Black cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine, under brown & orange DJ, frontispiece by Ernest Alexander. Book itself quite nice, but the DJ has a 2.5" diagonal chip out of the front panel, plus rubbing and some wear. A good placeholder of this Pulitzer Prize winning book.

White Rabbit Press, 1966. Soft cover. Fine. Tan wraps with black lettering, stapled binding. 2nd printing in an edition of 500 copies after the first of 350. No flaws found.

London: Fulcrum Press, 1967. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Full tan boards under brown dust jacket, 9-1/2" x 6-1/4", 112 pp. Turning in to head of spine, minor fading to spine panel of jacket, a nice copy overall. Fulcrum did a limited edition of this, but this copy is the trade edition.

Mint green cloth with paste down title on spine, 8vo, 57, wood engravings by Paul Landacre, limited to 500 copies; dust jacket is age toned and dust soiled, rubbed in places, now in mylar. Typed poem, 'The Diviners', by Edward Doro laid in. Christopher Morley on reading 'The Boar and Shibboleth': "...And that poem, perhaps a column long, changed the whole day for me. When I went out on 42nd Street, the shining armadillo of the Chrysler Building looked newer and more beautiful; the day was a better day for that poem Edward Doro wrote. That is the kind of thing you have to keep your eye open for.

A fusion of poetry, commentary and new and ancient images in an intricate mosaic of texts, marginalia and over eighty illustrations which range from early printing to Steve Tilden's extraordinary welded glyphs.

The first publication of The Reed Press. There are some illustrations to the poems but they don't seem to be credited.
