The text block edges are dust soiled. Callahan was a big part of the entertainment industry in California, silent film, theater and radio. He also created two successful American Indian theme parks. Callahan produced a number of syndicated radio programs during the Thirties which celebrated the Indian way of life, their contributions to the American West, and the beauty of Indian Culture. Callahan, was a big fan of Helen Hunt Jackson's book "Ramona." He authored the original Ramona Pageant, which is still held to this day in Hemet. ; 8vo .
