Buenos Aires (Galería de Arte Van Riel) (1949). Raúl Lozza was an Argentinian painter and theorist who was a part of the concrete art movement in Buenos Aires, the Asociación Arte Concreto-Invención. Lozza eventually split from this group and in 1947 founded the Perceptivism movement. This movement was based on three artistic principles: the substitution of a traditional background with a color field, the creation of the "cualimetría" (quality measurements) of the plane, and the "centrifugal structure of references into space aimed at eliminating the influence of the periphery".
