A satirical novel poking fun at abolitionists and suffragists, with digressive attacks on progressive authors, spiritualists, and domestic upheaval of all stripes. Wright II, 2020, this copy including the 48-page promotional excerpt of the Wanzer, McKim novel The Montgomerys (including its separate title page) at the end. Front blank excised.
