This is a Valentine greeting card: a young boy has a bouquet of roses. The front of the card states: Lucky- yes- if you will be my valentine! The inside of the card states: Getting along without a heart they say is hard to do, But I would gladly give mine up if it were claimed by you. Circa 1920's or 30's.

McCormick Deering 4 advertisings from McCormick Deering fliers: Power Manure Spreader, Ronning Ensilage Harvester, Tractor, Ensilage Cutters. The equipment seems fairly primive circa 1920's. The flyers are folded in 12 parts, the tractor flyer has one fold ripped.

Chicago: A Century of Progress Exposition, 1932 64 pages, On the front free end page in Chinese calligraphy: Ancient Orchid scripture , chapter ten Good Fortune/ luck. Fate. Long gaiety. Happiness. Sep. 4th, 1933 Not sure who inscribed this but it is quite attractive. The little illustrated catalogue is in nice condition with minor staining to boards.

Chicago & New York: Lyons & Carnahan, 1913 63 pages, includes short essays by Grover Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt, Henry Cbot Lodge, Graham Hood, W.O. Bradley and others. All inscribed in shorthand with translations. Nice condition with very minor stain on cover.

Smithfield: W. Sutton, 1878 10 pages, duotone frontispiece with title page plus 8 pages of descritpion of the arrival of the obelisk. The rear page is half missing, and some foxing to pages.
