Cooper, Emeritus Henry Putnam University Professor of Philosophy at Princeton University, albeit one of the few volumes thus that does not bear his name on the front end-paper [vol. one in paper-back does]. The chapter on Aristoxenus (pp. 120-150) shows mild pencil underlining and brief marginal notation in Greek in Dr. Cooper's hand. Overall a superior copy, but for pencil annotation mentioned above a clean, fresh, square and near as new volume. Very good+ in a fine dust-jacket. .
