In overall very good to near fine condition, white dj is rubbed to top edge with some slight tanning; brown cloth boards, with bright gilt titles to spine, are very crisp, slight rubbing to lower edge. Binding tight, no annotatons or inscriptions - signed gift label to half-title page partially removed; text, plates and illustrations very clean and clear throughout. A handsome, little used copy, of this signficant reference text. FRom a private collection, not ex-library.
