This monumental tome, written in German, fearlessly and expertly covers EVERY aspect of human health and disease at the time, using over 150 illustrations, 42 full-page color plates, and Dr. Fischer-Duckelmann's prose in 1039 pages. The author (1856-1917) was herself a pioneering Austrian doctor, author and reformer. 6 3/4" x 9 5/8" and 2 3/8" deep (oversized, may require additional postage) hardcover with no dust jacket (most likely as designed).
