Original dust jacket (very good) = yellow, green, black and white particulars, brief book description, and 3 photos of author "in action" on front, head shot of author on back; minor chipping and rubbing to jacket. Jacket flap has more complete description of the book highlighting the "16 pages of photographs" and "decorations by the author." Noted appraiser James Beattie has valued this copy at $60.00.

Navy blue cloth boards with gold gilt particulars on spine only. Book is pristine, bright white pages, no marks of any kind, sharp, tight, few smudges on top and bottom edges. AS NEW. Original unclipped jacket has navy blue framing photo of ship and sailors front, promos of the book rear, with particulars in gold gilt, blue, black and white on front and spine. AS NEW/AS NEW.
