VERY GOOD PLUS condition. Bowen-Merrill of Indianapolis (L. Frank Baum's publisher, later becoming Bobbs-Merrill) was Riley's first publisher (after all, he was an Indiana guy). Bowen-Merrill had a disastrous fire in 1890, destroying most of the business and taking 10 lives. This volume was published by Century in New York, yet this 50 volume LIMITED EDITION seems to have been controlled by Bowen-Merrill.
