HATFIELD BOOKS AND MEMORABILIA, a FIVE STAR SELLER, presents the 1904 edition of CRAM'S QUICK REFERENCE ATLAS AND GAZETEER OF THE WORLD. 2 ÂĽ" x 4", this miniature hardcover has 105 pages of colored maps + @150 unnumbered indexed names pages. The overall condition is VERY GOOD MINUS, with page edges originally tinted red (little tint left); pages tight, occasional staining, little to no tanning, owner name in front. Cover is brown leather, no particulars, designed hole low on both front & back. It is fascinating to see the geographical boundaries as they were in 1904! Noted appraiser James Beattie has set a value of $32.

This 6" x 8 3/4", 295 page ramble through the English countryside is in NEAR FINE condition, with light yellowing of the pages, yet unmarked and tight. Assumed FIRST EDITION because 1) same date appears on both title page and copyright page and 2) the jacket contains review snippets for previous books by author, but none for this book. Cover has red cloth boards. ORIGINAL DUST JACKET (pictorial in browns and greys, with particulars in white) is VERY GOOD PLUS: cloth taped to reverse covers, couple of creases, light chipping. Book contains many whimsical illustrations by the author of his travels.
