This is the first trade edition from State House Press. 210 pages with illustrations by Charles Shaw. This short novel was to be a portion of the novel; 'Texas'. Michener published it as a separate novel on its own instead. The dust jacket is intact and is hot price clipped. The jacket had been protected with a clear, removable cover, so there is no wear to report on the jacket. However, the clear cover had been taped to the boards with thin strips of masking tape.
