I have been a collector for over 40 years and decided to downsize some of my collection.

What are your specialties as a dealer?

I am the book 'Expert' for cashintheattic and value books for insurance and probate purposes as well. I specialise in Modern First Editions and signed books and ephemera. I also sell books on London and WE2

What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?

The Freedom of working for myself and the anticipation of not knowing what you may find from day to day.

Do you have an open storefront or have you in the past?


What is your favorite bookshop (other than your own)?

Recycled books in Denton, Texas, USA It has a vast selection of stock and always has something worth buying when I am there.

What do you personally like to read? Collect?

Sci-fi, Fantasy, modern crime, london and history.

What's your favorite book you personally own? Would you sell it, if the price were right?

Day of The Triffids. I read it time and time again and never get bored with it.

What one book would you buy if price were no object?

Brighton Rock by Graham Greene.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could bring three books, what would they be?

Day of the Triffids, I am Legend and believe it or not Twilight!
