Deals with the excavations carried out at the Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons site near Midland, Ontario. This was the site of a seventeenth century Jesuit Mission from 1639 to 49, but the area was occupied by Huron people from 1200AD onwards. Deals with the neolithic cave paintings at Porto Badisco, to the south of Otranto in the heel of Italy, which were first discovered in 1970. 180pp plus 128pp (some folding) of b&w plates (and a few in colour).
