No dustwrapper, blue leather spine has some slight wear to the ends, white buckram-covered boards have slight bumping at the corners, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this large (about 12'' high by 9.5'' across) hard-cover book. No publication date given, but contains material which was originally published in two special numbers of the Times from November 8th and 9th 1927, so probably from not long after. Contains articles by various anonymous authors on aspects of the history and traditions of the City of London. 232pp plus 33pp adverts, numerous b&w illustrations. Part of the publisher's "Black's Colour Books" series on English counties, this one looks at Dorset.
