1964 Follett Publishing Tall hardcover format. Dj is missing, copyright on the final page of the book for 'The Mr. Gilfump Song' is 1961. Color illustrations including duo page by John E. Johnson. Silver hardcover binding with red imprint illustration on front cover & lettering on spine. Spine is sunned & severely frayed at the bottom extremity, overall creasage from use, firm & straight. Corners rubbed through, boards show general shelfware. Inside pages are sturdy cardstock and are clean, unmarked & illustrations are remarkably well preserved.

1930(not dated, list of 33 titles behind the full title page ends at 1930 publications) trade hardcover format, orange boards with color pastedown on front board shows light overall shelfware, color pastedown is fine. 36 pages. Not remainder marked, no dj as issued. Binding firm & straight. Inside cardstock pages are clean & unmarked.

1965 Istituto Editoriale Italiano Large Hardcover. Very Good. Heavily illustrated by V. Accornero illustrations, many of them full page. Boards show some light shelfware, cornerwear, clean. Binding tight & straight. Pages are clean, unmarked & bright.

1963 The Crowell-Collier Press large hardcover format. Not remainder marked. "First Crowell-Collier Press Edition 1963" appears on the copyright page. Some pen scribbles on the ffep, else pages clean, unmarked, not aged and heavily illustrated by Evaline Ness (former wife of Untouchable Eliot Ness). Front board has dime sized chip on the front, corners rubbed, light edgewear, in overall very good clean condition. Binding firm & straight.

1966 Random House oversized hardcover. No indications of further printings on the copyright page & dj lists this title last on the rear jacket flap. Not remainder marked, dj is not price clipped(295). Dj has wear at the spine end extremities, a tiny chip on the top edge of the front panel & some sunning on the top left corner of the front panel, very little shelfware & looks very good in Brodart protective sleeve. Book has wear on the spine extremities and light cornerwear, else clean. Binding firm & straight. Pages, heavily illustrated by the author with b&w photographs, are clean, unmarked & not aged.

1905 Frederick A. Stokes Co. oversized hardcover format. Pages clean, unmarked & bright; 4 full page color plates clean with vibrant color. Blue cloth covered boards with front & back pastedowns show moderate shelfware & heavy edgewear, worn corners, binding firm & straight.

1907 Saalfield Publishing Company large hardcover format. Pages are loose, some completely, most still attached to the binding, all 110 pages are accounted for and complete with the double illustrated frontspiece, & 24 full page illustrations inside the book, 9 of which are color. Binding is weak, boards show overall shelfware, edgewear & cornerwear, illustration on the front is still relatively complete.

1936 King Features Syndicate Tabloid sized linen Paperback w/stapled bindings. Light aging and faint shelfware on the cover wraps, very faint corner bends, no rips or tears. Color illustrations bright & clean, remarkably preserved color. Stapled binding fine with no signs of tearage.
