Superbly illustrated, including black and white line art as well as several full page color plates, and color cover art by Cyrus LeRoy Baldridge. Light marginal toning and a few scattered small spottings to pages, otherwise pages are fine. Endpapers clean and unmarked but toned along hinges. Bound in hardcover of cloth printed with color illustration wrapping across full front and back, spine titled in gilt within dark green panel. Cover has light edge rubbing but is clean, bright and colorful. Unclipped jacket, printed in art matching cover, is clean with $3.50 price intact on front flap. The jacket is uncommon in any condition; this is clean and colorful though very edgeworn with several shallow chips and tears, most heavily worn at spine ends and flap corners. Front hinge is cracked and the rear hinge is broken with cover almost detached. The book is askew in the cover.
