Glasgow: Thomas D. Morison. Good with no dust jacket. c1896. Second Edition. Hardcover. 404 pp. No date but c1896. Illustrated with 24 black and white plates. Condition is fair-good. Original dark red cloth covers have general wear, some rubbing, cloth has a few ripples, spine gilt faded but still legible, bit of wear to spine head and tail. Some black marks on the bottom edge of the text block. Interior has a gift inscription on the first blank dated 1913, paper is browned but everything is present and clean. Fascinating accounts from Christian missionaries from all over the world. Places or people visited include: Cree Indians, South Africa, BurmaCameroons, Tahiti, Fiji, Namaqua Indians, Greenland, Malanesia, China, Polynesia; Chippewa Indians, Alaska Indians, Hawaii, Samoa, , Madagascar, Bengal, Hottentot people, Uganda, Bedouin Arabs, Jamaica, Siberia, Australian Aborigine, Japan, Laplanders, Jerusalem Jews, Cambodia, and many more. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 404 pages .
