Original blue cloth binding with gilt lettering, a little general wear with some rubbing to edges and joints, gilt lettering dulled to spine. Contents clean and tight, English names added in very neat and faint pencil to table of plates, private bookplate to front pastedown, text pages a little tanned, paper to front hinge worn, a couple of gathering opening slightly. Text in French with common names in English, French and German. Correvon was a Swiss botanist and alpinist, who wrote a number of important works on alpine plants. A very good copy. Nissen 406a.
