The Aeneis volume with engraved frontispiece and engraved title page; half title to Juvenal only, the half title in vol. I is not bound in; Juvenal is complete in itself but 'Explanation' not bound in at end (these titles were probably not intended to be divided in this manner, which would explain the odd arrangement of title pages.) Bound in contemporary half polished black calf over dark green marbled boards, generally good and strong with light superficial wear and rubbing, a little more worn to head/tail of the spines and Juvenal volume with slight damage to the base of the front joint. Overall a very good set. . Assumed New Edition. Half Leather. Very Good. 16mo (8 x 13cm).
