New York: American Book Exchange, 1880 Acme Library Junior Classics. Red cloth with black imprinting and border on the spine and front covor, gilt imprinting on the spine, and imprinting only, no added color, of a border on the back cover. The corners have been bumped and rubbed through at both bottom corners and one top corner. The front flyleaf and pastedown has a previous owner's signature and the date Oct. 22, 1889. 360 pages that are crisp and clean with tanning due to age and a few spots on a few of the pages. There may be a tiny tear, here and there, as the pages are so tender/fragile, although NOT crumbling. Page 15 has a very small open tear at the top right corner. The hinge has split after the front flyleaf and between pages 356 and 357, however the binding holds and is still tight. A very good book from a non-smoking household.
