Hardcover with dustjacket, first American printing, "Here are fifteen tales and legends first written down in the Middle Ages, newly translated and re-told from the original stories or poems," features the excellent illustrations (including beautiful wraparound color dustjacket art) of Charles Keeping, winner of the 1967 Kate Greenaway Medal, dustjacket has one flaw: the front flap is corner-clipped at the bottom but please note that the original price (3.95) is present at the top of the flap and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, the book is also in excellent condition, there is a tiny amount of foxing on the half-title and title pages and a bit of tanning on the top outer page-edge, no other flaws .
