It has wear to the edges and corners and one small closed tear. This is the 1959 Readers Union version of the book originally published in 1957. Very rare in the UK.

Some age-soiling to the edges of the page-block. Slightly cocked, but otherwise in excellent condition with no discoloration. Print code 732.455 to inner rear.Complete and unclipped dustwrapper with Sunbeam-Talbot on the front and price showing as "5/- NET". Last book listed on the rear flap of the dust-wrapper. Dust-wrapper is bumped and worn at book corners with slight loss there. Similarly at the four corners of the spine. Otherwise, apart from general mild age-soiling and superficial scratching, it is in very good condition with no tears.
