Strong and sturdy binding a little weak at hinges and at page 145 started to crack but still intact and sturdy. Some bumping and wear to cover. Light cover edge chipping. Slight cover edge tanning and light spine tanning. Cover corner tips and spine ends slight wear-through green cover. Small clear tape remnants to cover. Copyright page has black felt marker mark under printing company name. Very slight spine wrinkle. A previous owner's gift letter is affixed to the front end paper - dated 1986.; 269 pages .

Clean and unmarked text with a very stable and tight binding. Front cover has three small marks - one near spine edge, one very small (about 1/8) shallow dent, and another mark near bottom edge. Very light bumps to edges and cover top corners. A very small white mark near center of back cover. Spine very slightly wrinkled but intact - no tearing, wear or damage. Inside front cover glue-down sheet has faint date stamp of April 9 1930 and pencil mark "PV". NOT a library book. Very slight and tiny bumping to pages front edges. Very light tanning to pages edges. .

Text clean and unmarked with two very slight smudges on title page and table of contents and a slight start of tanning to page ends. Hardcover has very small chip to bottom front spine and slight tanning to edges. Binding and all pages intact and stable but has a cracked spine at page 16, 88 and 192. Very light cover edge tanning. Book is Second Impression translated from Original German text. DJ has some tears to spine ends (heaviest at top spine end) and chipping to edges. DJ edges have some small closed tears. Very light surface shelf wear to DJ cover. .

Pages of book have front deckle edges and light page edge tanning. Yellow top page ends. Book's pastedown papers thinning and showing cardboard underneath - no tears and fully intact.
