Very scarce title (this is the actual book not a print-on-demand copy), foreword by Andrew Edney, turquoise cloth with gilt lettering, publisher's blind stamp to rear board, bumping to corners, slight dust and foxing marks to edges, slightly 'sprung' to top of spine, with related split to front pastedown near the top (binding perfectly secure), owner's name and address to front free endpaper, internally fine; dust-wrapper is rubbed and creased in places, with a small tear to one corner and a pale waterstain across part of top of spine, spreading a little to the front panel. ALSO INCLUDES: a letter from the editor, Bruce Fogle, on his headed notepaper ('Portman Veterinary Clinic'), dated September 1986, about his participation in a television series, signed 'Bruce'.
