To my knowledge, no copies of this Omega edition were first printings. Black paper-covered boards. Fine in fine dust jacket. One of only twelve men to walk on the Moon, commander of Apollo XVII, the last Lunar mission. Cernan is also one of only three men to circle the Moon on more than one flight (Apollo X and XVII), and only two who circled the moon, and later landed on the Moon. (Jim Lovell flew on Apollo VIII, and was due to land on aborted mission Apollo XIII. John Young flew with Cernan on Apollo X, and later landed on Apollo XVI).

Fine, with offset from a small piece of tape on the front free end-paper, in a near fine dust jacket with wear to the edges and slight spine fade. Insert brochure "God of Earth and Outer Space a hymn for the space age." laid into the book. One of only 12 men to walk on the moon. He was the 8th person to walk on the Moon on Apollo 15 in July 1971; and the first and youngest to die on August 8, 1991 (age 61). Irwin and Scott's mission collected more Lunar samples than any previous mission, including the Genesis Rock.
